90th minute: Referee Rachide Jose blows to end this match which the
Botswana side could have managed to bag as they created many chances
that they did not however put to good use. Its back to the drawing
board for the coaches as they try and find combinations that could
help them win the next matches as continued draws or losses could see
them packing their bags for home earlier.

Pontsho Moloi is awarded man of the match award.

88th minute: Comoros captain, Mohamed Mouigini, is pulled out to
make way for Ahmed Ali by Comoros coach, Abderemane Chamite.

The match looks set to end in a stalemate as both sides appear content
with a draw being the fairest result in this encounter.

76th minute: Comoros goalkeeper, Mroivili Mahamoud lies injured on the
turf after he came into contact with Botswana’s Thekiso who was
heading for goal. Mahamoud had cut Thekiso out but could not stop in
time to avoid injuring the Comoros goalie.

79th minute: Botswana coach, introduces Malepa Moleleng for Mokgathi
Mokgathi, in an effort to boost his strikeforce which has created an
avalnche of chances but is yet to convert any one of them.

70th minute: On the other side of the pitch, Comoros captain, Mohamed
Mouigini forces Botswana defender, Ndiyapo Letsholathebe to push the
ball for a corner kick after Mouigini tried to cross the ball to his
partner in crime, Miktadi Daoud.

66 minutes: Thekiso’s effort bounces off the cross bar after he
scooped the ball over goalkeeper, Mroivili Mahamoud.

63 minutes: Comoros coach, Abderemane Chamite pulls out Mohamed Farouk and replaces him with Nazarali Issa

57 minutes: Comoros Miktadi Daoud is stretchered off the field of play
owing to an injury. Medics attend to him and he recovers to continue
with the game.

55 minutes: Comoros forced to push the ball out for a corner after
Moloi and Mpoeleng exchanged deft passes on the left flank. Senxsing
danger, the Comoros’ defence is forced to concede a corner kick, which
however goes begging.

Two minutes later the action swings to the other side of the pitch
with Botswana’s Thekiso failing to push the ball over the line after
being set up by Moloi. The Comoros defenders were caught off guard by
Moloi’s cross but Thekiso failed to take advantage of their failure to
concentrate.

48th minute, Comoros’ Soilihi Bourhane tries his luck but the Botswana
goalkeeper is equal to the task. Bournane tried to take a sshot at
goal but his effort was stopped by the keeper.

Second half kicks off

46 minutes: Referee Jose blows to end first half of the match, with
the two sides, Comoros and Botswana tied nil all in the second match
of the 2009 edition of the Council of Southern African Football
Association (COSAFA) Senior Men’s Challenge here at Barbourfields
Stadium in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.

44 minutes, manhandling, pushing and shoving becomes the order of the
day as players from both sides dispute a decision by referee, Jose to
award free kick to Botswana after a tackle on Ofentse Nato.

43 minutes, Botswana’s Moemedi Moatlaping is stretchered off the field
of play after sustaining an ankle injury arising from a challenge for
possession with Comoros’ captain Mohamed Mouigini. He is attended to
and is back on the field of play. Meanwhile, Botswana firce a corner
kick as they maintain the pressure on their opponents.

37 minutes: Botswana pile the pressure with Mokgathi as he fires a
shot that misses the right upright post by a few inches.

32 minutes: Botswana's Mokgathi attempts to beat Comoros' Mroivili
Mahamoud with a header but the effort is poor, posing no problem for
the goalkeeper.

31 minutes: Comoros’ Mohamed Farouk lies injured on the field of play.
Referee, Rachide Jose calls Comoros’s medical team to attend to him,
recovers and is back on the pitch.

26th minute: Botswana comes out fighting but strikers, Mokgathi Mokgathi, Moloi and Onalethata Thekiso fail to utilise chances coming their team’s way. They all miss a glorious chance to surge ahead as they all rush for the kill but disturb each other in the process.

17th minute: Botswana pile pressure on Comoros through Letsholathebe and Onalethata Thekiso who both lobb the ball over the bar, with the intention of settling first ahead of their opponents. But the Comoros defence remains steady and refuses to yield in to the presuure.

10 minutes: Botswana’s Dirang Moloi fails to get to the end of a move inside the Comoros box. He was set up by striking partner Mokgathi Mokgathi. 11 minutes: Botswana Ndiyapo Letsholathebe heads his effort over the bar after a free kick by captain Mompathi Thuma on the left flank. Thuma had been harped down during a tussle for possession.

Match gets off to a pace start as both teams size each other up. With three minutes played, Comoros find itself attacking the Botswana goal area as Comoros’s Miktadi Daoud misses the left upright post during a raid on Botswana goal area.
