Swaziland vs Comores

Referee Martins De Carlvalho blows to end the Swaziland/ Comoros encounter, with Swaziland captain Mxolisi Mtsefwa being awarded man of
the match. The victory by Swaziland (3-0) over Comoros gives them hope of progressing to the next round on condition that Seychelles hold
Botswana to a draw.

77th min: Mtsedwa heads wide of goal as Swaziland pile on the pressure on Comoros.

67th min: GOAL Substitute, Mtsedwa makes it three for Swaziland with a harmless strike fumbled into the nets by Mahamoud. Mtsedwa registered his name on the score-sheet a few minutes after being thrown into the fray by Mashaba.

63rd min: Swaziland’s coach, Ephraim Shakes Mashaba responds to his opposite number’s plan by also substituting Sabelo Hlatjwako for Tisuka ndoda Mtsedwa

56 min: GOAL Malungisa Dlamini puts Swaziland two goals up with a strike after
getting the better of Comoros defenders who displayed lacklustre performance inside the box.

The Comoros defenders tossed the ball around and Dlamini went for the ball, dispossessing them and hitting the nets, leaving Mahamoud a mere spectator.

46 min: The first half of the match ends with Swaziland leading the Comoros by one goal to nil courtesy of the strike by Mathokoza Thwala. It has been an eventful first half with both sides aiming for a win. Victory for the Comoros would give them a ticket to the Quarter-final of this year’s COSAFA Senior men’s Challenge. The victory is however set to come after a big fight as Swaziland are also eyeing the quarter-final slot should they manage to turn the tables on the Comoros.

And that goal by thwala might prove to be all what Shakes Mashaba and
his men would require to secure a second half berth in the quarter
final.
