MALAWI ARE THE BIG MOVERSMalawi were the big movers amongst the COSAFA nations in the latest FIFA World Rankings released on Wednesday. The Flames, after the admirable showing at the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations, where they beat World Cup finalists Algeria 3-0, jumped 17 places to number 82 in the world, and the 17th best side in Africa. They are joined in that position Mozambique, who dropped 10 places after their poor display in Angola, and having been the top-ranked COSAFA side in the last list, now find themselves fourth. Zambia, quarterfinalists in Angola, move to the top and are ranked 73 in the world and 14 in Africa. They are followed by South Africa (81st and 16th).
