SOLDIERS WIN ANGOLA SUPER CUP

Army club Primeiro Agosto have won their first trophy of the new Angola season, beating arch rivals Petro Atletico to the Super Cup.
Zambian import Danny Hangunyu scored a stoppage time equaliser in Sunday’s second leg in Luanda’s Cidadela Stadium to see Primeiro Agosto to a 3-2 aggregate triumph.
Danny had also scored the both goals in the first leg in Luanda in midweek when Primeiro beat Petro 2-1
Petro went ahead in the second leg, tying the aggregate score line after Angola international Job scored after just nine minutes.
The trophy marked a winning start at the helm of Primeiro Agosto of their new Serbian coach Ljubinko Drulovic and centre back Kali, who has signed from French club Arles-Avignon. Kali captained Angola at the recently completed African Nations Cup finals.
It is only the second time in 10 years that the soldiers have won the Super Cup.
