MOZAMBIQUE RE-APPOINT NOOIJDutchman Mart Nooij has signed a new four-year contract with Mozambique, ending months of speculation about his future. Nooij led the side to the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations, where they exited in the first round, and he has now been tasked with qualifying the side for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. But before that there is the matter of getting the side to the 2012 and 2013 Nations Cup finals, a definite mandate for the coach. Mozambique begin the campaign to qualify for the 2012 Nations Cup against Libya on September 5 but have a friendly against Botswana next week, the federation said.
