ASA, INTER FOR ANGOLAN CUP FINAL
AS Aviacao and InterClube will contest this year’s Angolan Cup final after wins in the Sunday’s semifinal clashes. ASA, deposed last month after three years as champions, beat Primeiro Agosto 1-0 in Luanda while InterClube needed a penalty shootout to deny Sagrada Esperanca any chance of achieving a league and cup ‘double’. The final will be played in Luanda on November 11. InterClube are twice previous winners of the cup while ASA’s only previous cup success was 10 years ago.
