FLYERS WIN CUP
A goal from winger Kadima seven minutes from the end of the match handed AS Aviacao a 1-0 victory in Saturday’s Angolan Cup final over InterClube of Luanda on Friday.
The match was held as Angola, who recently qualified for a first ever World Cup finals appearance, celebrated 30 years of independence.
AS Aviacao were deposed after three years as league champions when the season ended a fortnight ago, finishing second but still qualifying for next year’s African Champions League competition.
As cup runners-up, InterClube will play in next year’s African Confederation Cup tournament.
