ZAMBIAN COACH FOR GUNNERS
Former Zambian international Aggrey Chiyangi has been appointed as the new coach of Botswana premier league club Extension Gunners.
The ex-defender, who played for Zambia in the 1994 MTN Africa Cup of Nations final in Tunis, will take charge of his first match on Sunday when Gunners play Mogoditshane Fighters.
The 41-year-old Chiyangi takes over from the Zimbabwean Clever Hunda, who had been sacked last month.
Chiyangi’s previous coaching experience includes taking Zambia’s under-20 to the 2003 Cosafa Youth Championship and also working at Power Dynamos and Kabwe Warriors.
