SEMIFINAL GOES AHEAD IN LUSAKA

Saturday’s Cosafa Castle Cup semifinal between Zambia and Botswana is to go ahead at Lusaka’s Independence stadium despite reports that the game might be moved.
Cosafa secretary general Ashford Mamelodi has quashed rumours of a switch of venue for the first of this year’s last four games.
Restrictions will be placed on spectators sitting on the main grandstand which has been condemned by municipal authorities and is awaiting renovations.
It has cut the capacity of the stadium to 25,000.
Zambia also plan to host their MTN Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa in October at the same venue.
