BENJAMIN OUT OF NAMIBIA SQUAD

Hamburg SV midfielder Collin Benjamin has withdrawn from Namibia’s squad for their African Nations Cup Group 10 qualifier against the Democratic Republic of Congo in Kinshasa on Sunday, the Namibian Football Association said on Thursday.
Benjamin pulled out after picking up an injury last Sunday in a Bundesliga match against Hertha Berlin, in which he was also sent off and has since been banned for three matches by the German league.
Benjamin returned after an absence of almost three years to play for Namibia’s national side when they lost 1-0 to South Africa in a friendly in Windhoek on Aug. 16.
