SICHONE BACK IN ZAMBIA SQUAD

Zambia have handed a recall to German-based defender Moses Sichone in a 26-man squad named for their MTN Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa in Lusaka on October 8.
Sichone, from promoted Bundesliga team Alemania Aachen, has not played for his country since late 2003, but was named by coach Patrick Phiri in the list of players called up for the key Group 11 qualifier.
Also returning to the squad are strikers Collins Mbesuma, loaned by English premier league leaders Portsmouth to Maritimo in Portugal this season, and Jacob Mulenga, who plays in France’s Ligue 2.
Zambia won their opening match in the qualifying group away against Chad earlier this month while South Africa were held to a goalless draw at home by Congo.
