CANDIDATES FOR COSAFA PRESIDENCY

Cosafa have received three nominations for the vacant post of Cosafa president.
The three candidates are Kalusha Bwalya (Zambia), Petrus Namaseb (Namibia) and Suketu Patel of the Seychelles.
Bwalya is vice president of the Football Association of Zambia and a former African Footballer of the Year.
Damaseb, a high court judge in Namibia, recently stepped down as president of the Namibia Football Association. He is the current Cosafa vice president.
Patel is president of the Seychelles Football Federation and a member of the executive committee of the Confederation of African Football.
The new president, who replaces Ismail Bhamjee of Botswana, will be elected at the Cosafa annual general meeting in Gaborone on December 2. A simple majority will win the election.
