NEW COSAFA PRESIDENT TO BE ELECTED

A new president of Cosafa will be chosen in Gaborone on Saturday when three candidates vie for the seat vacated by the resignation of Botswana’s Ismail Bhamjee.
Kalusha Bwalya of Zambia, Petrus Damaseb of Namibia and Seychelles’ Suketu Patel are standing for the post at the annual meeting of the southern African footballing body.
Each of the 13 member countries will have a single vote for the ballot.
The winner will become only the second president in Cosafa history.
