CHANSA FACES LENGTHY BAN

Zambian international Isaac Chansa faces a possible six month ban from the game after his alleged assault on a linesmen in the South African league last week.
Chansa will go before the Premier Soccer League’s disciplinary committee next Thursday to hear charges of assault.
Originally, the PSL had only charged the midfielder with bringing the game into disrepute after the alleged attack which took place after he had been red carded in a league game against Jomo Cosmos.
But after criticism of the lenient charge, the PSL upgraded the level of its prosecution, threatening Chansa now with a length ban.
Previous charges of assault against match officials in the South African league has seen minimum six month bans handed down.
