ZIMBABWE CHAMPIONS GO ON SHOPPING SPREE

Zimbabwe champions Highlanders have named a 26-man squad to compete in next year’s MTN CAF Champions League, adding seven new players to their roster.
Highlanders return to the MTN CAF Champions League for the first time since 2003, hoping to reach the lucrative league phase for the first time.
New signings include Zimbabwe international goalkeeper Washington Arubi, signed from Lancashire Steel, and under-20 international Nqobile Mpala, who comes from Masvingo United.
The other five new signings are Pedzisai Benjamin, Shadreck Malunga and Ricky Sibiya from Shabanie Mine; Douglas Zimbago from Masvingo United and Thabani Moyo, who was previously playing in Cyprus.
