FLAVIO GETS DOUBLE FOR ANGOLA

Egyptian-based striker Flavio led a goal scoring spree in Luanda on Sunday as Angola hammered Eritrea 6-1 in the biggest win of the weekend’s round of MTN Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers
The Al Ahli forward grabbed two goals for the World Cup finalists as they kept up their 100 percent record in Group Six of the Nations Cup qualifiers to virtually assure themselves a place at next year’s finals in Ghana.
Benfica striker Mantorras, given a rare run in the starting line-up; Romanian-based winger Ze Kalanga, Mendonca from Portuguese second division side Varzim and captain Figueiredo, who plays his club football in Sweden, netted the other Angolan goals in a one-sided triumph at the Cidadela stadium.
Angola are now a comfortable five points clear at the head of the group standings. Angola are the hosts of the 2010 MTN Africa Cup of Nations finals.
