New dates have been announced for the latter stages of this year’s Cosafa Castle Cup competition.
The third of this year’s mini tournaments, originally scheduled for Botswana in August, has been brought forward to the weekend of July 28-29.
Botswana will host World Cup finalists Angola, Lesotho and Namibia in Group C, following which a draw for the semifinals will be conducted.
The semifinals of the annual southern African championships have been set for September 15-16 and September 29-30 September.
The final will be played on the weekend of October 20-21.
The 13 member countries of the Council of Southern Africa Football Associations are divided into three groups of four each for weekend mini tournaments. Holders Zambia are handed a bye into the semifinals, and joined the by the winners from the trio of the mini tournaments.
Mozambique won group A in Maputo at the end of last moth and Swaziland host the second mini tournament on May 26 and 27 when Malawi, Mauritius and 2010 World Cup hosts South Africa also participate in Group B.
