Mauritius have named two uncapped players from Australia in their 20-man squad for the weekend’s Cosafa Castle Cup Group B mini tournament in Swaziland.
Christopher Driver and Thierry Boi have both been included by coach Sarjoo Gowreesunkur after impressing in trials last week.
They come from Southern Star, a semi professional outfit in the second tier of the regional Victoria League.
There are also first call-ups for three others players, Sewraj Dawoochand, Fabrice Pithiah and Stephane Pierre, whose club Petitie Riviere Noire recently won the MFA Cup.
Midfielder Arassen Ragaven from French club Lorient is also named along with three players from the French-controlled island of Reunion.
