Teko Modise scored both goals as South Africa booked a berth in the semifinals of the Cosafa Castle Cup with an easy 2-0 win over Mauritius in their Group B final at Somhlolo in Swaziland on Sunday.
Modise converted a fortuitous first half penalty decision and added a second goal in the 65th minute to put the 2010 World Cup hosts through to the last four of the annual southern African championship.

On Saturday, the Brazilian coach used 10 new players as South Africa overcame Malawi in their group semifinal with a penalty shootout win after a goalless draw.
It proved a lot easier in Sunday’s decider although it took a fortunate handball to hand South Africa a chance to break down some stout defending from the Indian Ocean islanders.
Modise converted the 43rd minute penalty and then doubled the score in the second half with a flashing drive from the edge of the penalty area.
A goal five minutes from the end from substitute Mphile Tsabedeze saw Swaziland edge Malawi 1-0 in the earlier third place play-off match.
South Africa join Mozambique and Zambia in the semifinals. The last of the qualifying group tournaments is being played in Botswana in July.
