Mauritius have made a major overhaul to their squad as they depart for Sudan for Sunday’s MTN Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Mauritius have seen several withdrawals after their weekend exertion in the Cosafa Castle Cup where they reached the final of the mini tournament in Swaziland against South Africa.
Captain Jimmy Cundamay has withdraw because of personal reasons while Arassen Ragaven, Kervin Godon and Cyril Mourgine are all injured.
Gilbert Bayaram, Colin Bell, Curtis Laseringue, Vincent Labonté, Ricardo Hovas, Waldo Lebreux and Andy Sophie have all been called up by coach Sarjoo Gowereenskur, who said he would continue to experiment with his line-up as Mauritius look ahead to the Indian Ocean Island Game in Madagascar in August.
