BENJAMIN DELIVERS FOR NAMIBIA

Namibia captain Collin Benjamin netted after just four minutes to lead his side to victory over Libya in their MTN Africa Cup of Nations group 10 qualifier in Windhoek.
Debutant Meraai Swartbooi, split the Libyan defence with a pass for Benjamin to knock past the goalkeeper.
Namibai had chance to double their lead but were then pegged onto trhe back foot by Libya, whose captain Nader Ali Abousalam hit the crossbar with a long range shot.
Shortly after halftime Libya again hit the woodwork when defender Walid Ali Ejlal’s header had the hosts pegged back.
Just before the end of the game, Libyan hit Namibia’s crossbar for a third with a thunderous shot from Naji Shushan .
The win moved Namibia second in the standings, one point behind the leaders Democratic Republic of Congo who they host in Windhoek next on June 16.
