SPANISH GIANTS BARCELONA VISIT SA

Barcelona, who finished second on a dramatic last day of the Spanish season on Sunday, travel to South Africa for a meeting with Nelson Mandela and a friendly march on Wednesday.
Barcelona, runners-up to Real Madrid despite a 5-1 away win over Gimanstic in their last league game of the season, will play South African champions Mamelodi Sundowns at Pretoria’s Loftus Versfeld, one of the 10 venues for the 2010 World Cup finals, on Wednesday.
The Barcelona players will meet former South Africa president Mandela at a charity dinner on Tuesday, Sundowns officials said.
Sundowns owner Patrice Motsepe, a mining magnet, is paying a reported 3-million Euros for the Barcelona visit.
