ERTUGRAL IS NEW CHIEFS COACH

South Africa’s most popular club Kaizer Chiefs have reappointed Turkish coach Muhsin Ertugral on a three year deal, the club’s website said.
Ertugral, 47, returns to the Johannesburg-based club after a previous three year spell with Chiefs between 1992 and 2002.
During his first spell in charge Ertugral took Chiefs to the 2001 African Cup Winners’ Cup title but also the club’s worst ever league finish, ninth in 2002.
He returns after Chiefs again finished ninth last season, replacing the German Ernst Middendorp and late season caretaker Kosta Papic from Serbia.
Ertugral won the South African Cup with Ajax Cape Town in May and took the unfashionable side to fourth place in the league. In recent years he has also had brief spells at clubs in Tunisia, Egypt, Austria and the United Arab Emirates.
