South African international Steven Pienaar has moved from Germany’s Borussia Dortmund to English club Everton on a one-year loan deal.
None of the financial details were given by Dortmund when they announced the deal on Friday.
Last year, Dortmund signed the 25-year-old from Ajax Amsterdam as a successor to Tomas Rosicky, who left Dortmund for Arsenal.
But Pienaar had an unhappy spell at Dortmund, criticised his teammates in press interview but did make 25 Bundesliga starts last season.
