Captain Colin Benjamin is out with suspension and first choice goalkeeper Abisai Shiningayamwe is injured. Veteran midfielder Robert Nauseb has announced his retirement from international football while Richard Gariseb, who is also based in neighbouring South Africa, has asked to be dropped because of a lack of match farness, having only recently recovered from injury.
Coach Ben Bamfuchile, having recovered from illness which kept him off the bench during the Cosafa Castle Cup in July, is back to lead the team to Addis Ababa.
