Zimbabwe to tackle Botswana in Independence Day celebrations

A locally-based Zimbabwe side will take on Botswana in an international friendly match on Wednesday at the National Sports Stadium in Harare as part of the country’s Independence Day celebrations.

The fixture, dubbed the President’s Cup, will be an excellent chance for both sides to fine-tune their preparations for the 2018 COSAFA Cup to be staged in South Africa’s Limpopo province from May 27-June 9.

Zimbabwe coach Sunday Chidzambwa has called up 21 players for the game.
