Zimbabwe coach Norman Mapeza has named a 30-man preliminary squad for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, with key player Khama Billiat not included following his international retirement.
Mapeza has named four uncapped players in his preliminary selection, namely defender Tapiwa Sibanda, and midfielders Temptation Chiwunga, Shepherd Mhlanga and Panashe Mutimbanyoka.
The squad will be led by veteran striker Knowledge Musona, while 36-year-old left-back Onismor Bhasera has also been included.
The Warriors will meet Senegal, Guinea and COSAFA rivals Malawi in Group B at the finals in Cameroon and will name their final selection before the December 31 deadline.
